Wetjen had a bad day in Ames. Him admitting that he wore the wrong cleats made it even more rough. Special teams in general needs to be better. I want all that shit cleaned up by the Rutgers game Friday night.

That IS a cool view of the punt return -- gives just a glimpse of the incredible vision needed to be an elite returner.
The blocked punt couldn't have come at a better time! Rutgers LIVES on blocked punts -- they had TWO of them yesterday for TDs -- and now, after having one blocked, the Hawks will be practicing punt protection all week. If they wouldn't have gotten one blocked last night, they almost certainly would have vs Rutgers. But now I think they'll be ready.
