Updated. Only game left tonight for bubble teams is Providence against Creighton.

The bubble teams did very poorly this weekend....which is good for Iowa

20 wins does matter...so does "losing 6 out of 7" including at home to Illinois, anywhere on planet Earth to Northwestern and squeaking past Purdue at home to avoid a 7 game losing streak. If this was ANY other team besides ours, would you think losing 6 out of 7 while looking like that team would rather be anywhere else doing anything else, besides playing basketball should be considered "good enough"? I have a feeling if it was Iowa State going through this, none of us would call them "tourney worthy".

And look at the dates for Wisconsin's 4 out of 5 skid...if Iowa's had happened in January and February and they were hot coming down the stretch, it would look and feel a lot better, but Iowa looks like they're ready to lose a play-in game vs a 18-17 directional school.

Iowa is NCAA Tourny Worthy when looking at the total body of work. Think what you want about them not deserving a bid or not being tourny worthy. I disagree. I'm pumped for next week. Your not going to spoil that for me!!

The world will end before the tournament starts so who cares. That should make you happy. When Iowa loses in whatever round it is during the tournament be sure to come back and taunt us.

What a terrible finish to the regular season. Disappointing. With that being said, I still would take the last 2 years over any Lick year. I would still take Fran over Alfraud. Fran will still out recruit Tom Davis. Things will be ok............ Oh yeah, we ARE still IN the dance. Maybe our Hawks can surprise us all and win one.
 
Do you think anyone would notice if Trey Dickerson suited up in place of Sapp? Sapp hasn't had much face time on TV, neither has TD.

No man..you are entitled to your own opinion we get it..but when you constantly put down the team you are a so called fan of, and you almost act like you hope we won't get selected just so you can act like you are right and say "I told you so"..makes you look very trollish and in 99% of this board's eyes..you are the idiot. 93% of bracket experts have said Iowa is a lock. If you don't support that or agree or at least show 1 sign of positivity towards that..you are going to get hated on this board. So maybe you should either join the club and be supportive or GET THE F*CK OUT. You decide which way to go.
