Updated Bubble Watch

N.C. State just punched their ticket after beating Syracuse 66-63. Bubble team that is probably in as a 9 seed now.

Updated.

Minnesota lost a much needed game. Providence won a game against a fairly weak opponent. Southern Miss lost to LA Tech.

NC State beat Syracuse and added themselves to the bubble talk. A win against Duke (assuming they beat Clemson) would definitely put them in a good spot

Pure speculation by me, and I'm the furthest thing from an expert, but I don't think its over for Minnesota yet. After the Villanova loss, the Badgers are likely a 1 seed, so the loss didn't really hurt the Gophers at all. Minnesota was the first team out by Lunardi today, and the second team out by Palm right behind Arkansas, who lost to a weak South Carolina team yesterday.

While I still don't think Minnesota will make it, their SoS is very strong and they could sneak in to a play-in game or a 11/12 seed.

So MN's hopes are, they played a sinking Syracuse in the preseason and got blitzed??
It aint looking so good for them.

Who cares? So what if this team limps into the tourney this year...they did it by default (and a weak *** pre BIG schedule). This team isn't good and they don't deserve a tourney spot. I hope the selection folks have some mercy on hawkeye nation and spare us another embarrassing performance by matching us up against a mid major team that will steam roll our no effort having group of flunkies.

Oh the butthurt is strong in this one.

As I mentioned the other day. Iowa will probably go in at a #10 knuckleheads. We are in the tournament so stop your stupid *hit and go to bed.

Nice trolly effort...doosh sack

What a bunch of babies. Can't take the truth. I forgot, everyone that doesn't have their head buried in the sand or wearing the black and gold tinted eyewear is a troll right. I'll try not to hurt your feelings next time. Iowa Final Four, Big Ten Champs, We're back, Fran COY, Marble POY...woo hoo!!! Did that make you feel better now?

Anyone with a clue knew this team had some issues, but also knows they comfortably in the tournament...doesn't matter how you make it, matters that they will be in. Oh yeah for the first time in a long 7 years.

Updated to reflect the end of the day. The majority of bubble teams lost today with NC State adding themselves to the bubble with a big upset of Syracuse and a huge match-up with Duke tomorrow.

St Joes, likely in with a win over Dayton today, would get an auto-bid with a win over St Bonaventure tomorrow, which they will be favored to do. A win by St Bonaventure would get them an auto-bid which would probably hurt the bubble teams.

I will update this in the morning to reflect Lunardi and Palm's latest bubble teams, but other than NC State joining the bubble I wouldn't expect much change.

Tell that to VCU and some other at large double digit seeds who have played into the second week and beyond. You really don't get it do you?

Maybe you don't get it...I don't remember VCU playing in a power conference, crapping the bed going into the tournament. Why don't you give me a list of teams that make the second week who were sliding as bad as we were going into the tournament and lost first round in their conference tourney. Didn't think so. Maybe Iowa surprises us all but the trend suggests otherwise.
