Horrible news. Puts a big damper on the game this week.
God bless his memory. The players will be playing like insane men this Saturday. Clowns will be destroyed.

Great play, great season, great player.
Thanks imported ankle. I even had forgotten how great that play was!
I am a cyclone fan...and I've honestly only come to this board to lurk through threads. This is my first post to this board...and I honestly don't know if I will ever post again. Regardless, this is a terribly sad situation. I find myself fascinated by how someone so talented and loved and full of life and vigor could just be here one day and gone the next, it's nearly impossible for me to reconcile. I truly hope his family (personal, hawkeye, Iowan) can find peace in the memories they cherish with Tyler.
Over on Cyclonefanatic, someone just posted this blog from Jeff Woody. Although it lends itself to some speculation I feel the emotional context is worth it. http://jwoody32.blogspot.com/jwoody32.blogspot.com/http://jwoody32.blogspot.com/
I will be at the game this weekend and I hope that for some of you it can be a good time to start healing. I can't wait for a great game with no injuries. I will be sure to share some beers with my Hawkeye brethren on Saturday, because if its one thing this incident should teach us is that life is much more important than a damn football game.
Good luck to all of you and godspeed! Hope to see you Saturday.
