Sash's official 40 was 4.62. However, that was good for 4th best among safeties, and the fastest time was posted by Boise State's Jeron Johnson at 4.53. Indy's new turf is also a bit of a slow track (IIRC), so Sash could run better on his pro day.
Sash also did well in the vertical (33 inches, good for 5th best, and just 2.5 inches behind Ahmad Black of Florida), 3-cone drill (3rd best time at 6.9, just .05 behind Black).
Also, Rahim Moore of UCLA also only posted 11 reps on the bench, and ran a 4.62, and he is considered one of the top safeties in this class.
Did Black run today? Or is he waiting for his pro day? He's probably the #1.
All in all, I'd say Sash had a pretty solid day.
