Tyler Linderbaum Headed to NFL

What a legend. One of my favorite hawkeyes of all time. Watching the Hawks on TV these past couple seasons, I've spent a lot of time focused in on #65 and not really following the ball. He was a spectacular college player and I wish him the best in the NFL.

Of the ironies of being a middle to late 1st rounder probably allows him to have a longer career in the NFL. 1 of the things that contributed to Gallery's shorter career was he had 4 diff OL coaches in his 1st 4 years with the Raiders.

Way to go Tyler, go have a good, safe career. He played over 30 games with one year being shortened so he gave plenty.

I agree with you about watch #65 as I would watch game replays just to watch the OLine. Nothing better than seeing these guys making great blocks. The one I will always remember and like is the long td run in 2020 to seal the wisky victory where Tyler L is escorting Goodson all the way down the field and Tyler is as fast as the wisky Dbacks. What a motor

Unbelievable player and an even better teammate and leader. My favorite memory of him is the post-game press conference after the thrilling win over Nebraska last November. He was wearing his championship t-shirt and you could tell he was happy that the Hawkeyes had finally won the Big Ten West.

He will be a force in the NFL. Frankly, he will be a force in anything he does the rest of his life. A very unique dude.

Last week, Collin Cowturd, who never has much good to say about Iowa, was actually complimentary about KF and his tenure. He was juxtaposing the SEC's impatience towards coaches versus the Big10, and how change is not always for the better. He then went on to talk about KF and the impact he has had on the state, program, and most importantly all the young men who have come through his program, and he mentioned the ridiculous number of NFL successes that have come through Iowa.

I find it hard to believe that TL would have achieved what he did anywhere else. Great young man, great fit for a program, and the result has been nothing short of amazing. Best center prospect in a generation. Kudos to all involved.

Gallery also had trouble with quick NFL edge rushers. That's why he eventually moved to guard, like Tony Mandarich.

Had to do it, the possibility of injury is just to great. My heart stopped when he went down in the bowl game. Thank you young man for the honor of watching you play and setting the example you did on and off the field!
