What are you talking about lol based on stat line Gibsonian threw up who wouldn't want to see what another 4 years could do to those numbers.Income tax reduction for the top two brackets (but not the rest) = big break for the very wealthy
Tariffs making goods more expensive = regressive tax, extra burden, for the middle class and poor.
More for them, less for us. Why did some of you vote for this? Look at Trump and who surrounds him. Billionaires.
Suckas.
Trump's first presidency was decent until covid. Good enough to vote for over whoever is running the democratic party right now, but not good enough to get excited over. What are you talking about lol based on stat line Gibsonian threw up who wouldn't want to see what another 4 years could do to those numbers.
Sorry but that's saying very little. Biden doesn't know who he is half the time and Harris was thrown into a campaign 3 months before the election with zero chance to win. They (all three) were all turds and regardless which one came out the end result is still a turd, albeit the orange one.Trump's first presidency was decent until covid. You mention Biden and Harris but I was talking about whoever is running the democratic party. It sure wasn't either of them.Sorry but that's saying very little. I don’t know what the right answer is, but always being able to find one random judge out of thousands to stop the president of the United States is a pretty dumb thing. It just can't be THAT easy to stop an elected president from doing things. There does need to be a way to stop him. But it's gotta be at least slightly harder than finding one random judge to do it. That basically says that every single judge in the country has more power than the president. That's just stupid. This particular turd seems to either not understand, or is willing to openly disregard our Constitution. Congress does appropriations, and the Judicial system (Judge's orders) should not be ignored. I hope this jackass doesn't continue down the authoritarian road, but I'm afraid he will.
Don't even get me started on him selling Teslas at the White House. What the actual F.
Do you think Trump needs to follow the Constitution, the existing laws, and judicial orders?I don’t know what the right answer is, but always being able to find one random judge out of thousands to stop the president of the United States is a pretty dumb thing. Why would I care if some random judge disagrees with me. I think it's incredibly stupid that we have a shit ton of judges in this country and all it takes is one to decide he's more powerful than the president. Again, I don't know what the right answer is and I think there definitely needs to be ways to keep a president in check. But all it takes is one judge to decide he doesn't like what the president is doing and he has the power to stop him. That's for sure not the answer and it's being abused bad lately.Do you think Trump needs to follow the Constitution, the existing laws, and judicial orders?
If any president can ignore the judiciary, we no longer have three co-equal branches, right?
Also, conservative Chief Justice Roberts may disagree with you, PC:
Valid point, but the same could be asked whether Trump is running the government right now or whether Musk is calling the shot. That's the joy of politics. You mention Biden and Harris but I was talking about whoever is running the democratic party. It sure wasn't either of them.
There's no doubt that all presidents have had people in their ear trying to do their bidding. That's nothing new. What was new is installing a president that wasn't even coherent anymore. That was Biden. He clearly had nothing to do with any government decisions for four years. (It's even more crazy now that the auto pen story has come out). You can make an argument that Harris doesn't fall into that category, and I wouldn't die on the hill that she does. But we know that SOMEONE was running the white house for four years. From there it's easy to assume those people would want to install someone that would allow them to continue to run things the way they were. The way they tried to sneak Harris in last minute without going through the process makes me assume she was their choice to accomplish that.Valid point, but the same could be asked whether Trump is running the government right now or whether Musk is calling the shot. I'd disagree with you. I think Biden was running the county when he first took office but his age caught up with him and someone took the reigns as his cognitive abilities started to decline. I honestly think we're in for the same treat as I think Trumps already showing signs of decline and has three more years to go. It's what we get for electing older presidents. There's no doubt that all presidents have had people in their ear trying to do their bidding. That's nothing new.
