So, what benefit does the tax break for the wealthy have for the average American?
Well for instance, if I could get say a 30k tax break, I'd probably hire someone else and pay them 30k per year. I'd be even and one person would have a job they otherwise wouldn't. So probably that but on a much larger scale. I think the bigger question is why does the government get to confiscate so much of our money and spend it so wrecklessly.

They bash everything if Trump does it. The cuts with an outside appointee. JFK and TDR did the same thing. Obama bashed USAID as have plenty of democrats. Calls to eliminate the DOE for years. None of this is new or controversial except they have to bash Trump. How about chipping in with ideas and suggestions and helping out to do it best. How horrible he wants to cut gov't waste! He has been getting hostages released how dare he! Starting the talks to get the fighting stopped and people can stop dying maybe.

Heck the Trump admin has to be perfect. There will be errors and mistakes that will be rectified. Not like the Biden Afghan withdrawal, his foreign policy, his GND implementation where the lack of any progress or mistakes are not mentioned as if that was perfect. These diseases are kept in check by vaccines that last from 10 years to life before needing another shot. How can they possibly be running rampant again due to Trump and RFK? The most they can influence people is for them to decide not to give/get new shots. All the people who have already had shots don't lose their immunity do they? The timing of saying what you just said is as poorly thought out is saying there are more plane crashes lately because of Trump. Changes take time to affect things. Especially a change like some people deciding not to vaccinate their babies.
I threw put a random number because I'm not going to go into specifics on my business. And businesses having more money to spend on employees isn't a lame attempt. It's a fact. It can be debated on how well it works and whether the benifit offsets the loss in IRS revenue. But the idea is obviously a real idea. Not a lame attempt.
And of course wealthy people did that last time. Hiring more people expands your business and in theory makes you more money. It would be in the wealthy person's best interest to do that. That's how they got wealthy in the first place. Expanding their business. They didn't get wealthy by pocketing their extra cash.

I have no problems with the deportations. It sucks for those that have been here their entire lives, but laws are there for a reason. Come in legally.
I get that changes take time and you can't put all the blame on tRump or RFK Jr, but what they have said about vaccines or ways of fighting diseases doesn't make most of us feel good about how it's being handled.

Trickle down economics have never benefitted the average Joe and the wealthy use it as a way of getting richer through stock buy-backs and keeping that money for themselves.
You might not have problems with deportations. But unless you live under a rock, you know the backlash Trump is getting for deportations right now. So why the backlash if he's deportation at lesser a rate than Biden did? The backlash is either fake outrage for political gain, or the Biden deportation numbers are fake.
I get how the vaccine issue is a scary subject. It's possible RFK is correct in how dangerous they are and they are still a net positive. There's actually a really big window where both of those things can be true. Anywhere from vaccines are slightly dangerous with a huge net gain to vaccines are pretty dangerous with a very small net gain. If it's the former, then what RFK is doing might be morally correct to let people know about the true dangers, but very bad for the population. If it's the latter, then it's definitely morally correct that people know the dangers and it will have almost no impact on the population.
I think what we are going to see is RFK is going to make it so vaccine manufacturers can be held responsible for side affects. If they truly believe their product is safe, it's something that they should agree to anyway. It's kinda bullshit they don't have to be already.
Again, I made up the 30k number. That number can be anything. And of course trickle down works. It's just debatable how well it works.
To again use fake numbers. Say I'm contemplating hiring another guy to expand my business. But when I crunch the numbers, I can't make it make sense. Maybe I think he will make me 20k more per year, but I'd have to pay him 30k. Well that would be a 10k loss so on the surface it doesn't make sense. But I know it's also possible I will do more work than an extra 20k (I just can't count on it) so the risk might pay off. It's a 50/50 decision.
Now say I get a 15k tax break. Well now hiring someone new is a no brainer. Worst case scenario I make an extra 5k per year (while doing less work since I have another guy). Best case scenario is I'm making maybe 20-25k more while doing either the same work or maybe still slightly less. Now suddenly my decision is easy and another guy has a job that otherwise wouldn't.
But that's just my business. There are other businesses out there that are probably operating at such a razor thin line that they are considering closing their doors. A tax break for them could be the difference between all of their employees keeping their job or losing it due to the business failing.
Really the only negative of letting anyone pay less in taxes is the government has to spend less. Get spending under control and let everyone keep more of their money. It baffles me that people don't agree with this.

It doesn't "only" make them richer. Again, it's debatable what the "get them richer/help economic growth" ratio is, but it's not 100%-0%.
They are firing thousands of employees because the job can be done without them or they're doing a job that doesn't need done at all. They are looking into the aid because there is a lot of corruption with aid money. Again there's a "money goes to aid/money gets stolen" ratio. And also again, it's debatable what that ratio is, but it's not 100%-0%. The ironic part is the money that is getting stolen is getting the wealthy people richer. It seems like you should care more about that. But I guess when the info comes from the wrong team, it's gotta be brushed off.
Also I understand if the way I typed my last post wasn't easy to follow or if understanding business numbers doesn't come naturally for you, but in my post it was the owner (me) who pocketed the 5k. It wasn't a raise to an employee.
