I am not talking about changing the server's total compensation. I am just saying it doesn't make sense that they get $4 per hour from their employer and then $11 per hour from tips. Just pay them $15/hour and increase the menu prices accordingly. Whether I am paying $40 for a meal plus $10 in tip, or whether I am paying $50 for the meal and don't have to worry about the stupidity of the gratuity system, my bottom line is affected similarly.

And tripled wages does not equate to tripled prices...the cost of labor for servers is just one small part of the overall cost in getting a meal to the table.

This is from the University of Michigan. The last paragraph notes "future expectations" of inflation to be a fair amount higher than now, which is troubling. The current president ran on prices and inflation. Watch this space. This is a survey, but feeling drive purchases as much as data.

Worthless when they are not enforced. Biden weakness was not enforcing sanctions, not checking to see if your charging stations are being made and other executive orders were being carried out.

Again... look there were sanctions(I didn't say or mean to say there weren't any) but not the whole story cause if you don't enforce laws or sanctions they don't prevent anything.

Russia is no different than a teen with weak parents who won't punish. they are gonna do shit cause they are not scared of any repercussions.

At the same time, Trump’s people asked Ukraine to withdraw a resolution condemning Putin’s war. Zelensky refused. This is straight-up gangster shit. NYT & WaPo report
