Trey Burke gets B1G POTW over Marble

Burke:
Averaged 23.0 points, 6.5 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals in two games

Marble:
30 points, 2 assists, 2 blocks, 4 rebounds

I have no beef with Burke getting the nod, but just thought Marble could get it.

2 games v. 1. Look at those stats for Burke, wow. I have no idea who they played, but I doubt many respect UNI very much either.

???? Burke's numbers were un-freaking-believeable.

In order for Marble to match Burke's numbers he would have to get:
16 points, 11 assists, 5 rebounds, 4 steals (had none v. UNI), granted Burke had no blocks.

If he can do that I'd say yeah, Marble shout have gotten it.

Also, Burke played Birmingham central or somethign and West Virginia, a decent team.

On the assist side, Marble will have a disadvantage, as he does not play PG full-time.

???? Burke's numbers were un-freaking-believeable.

Burke averaged 7 pts less, 0.5 rebounds more, 2 less blocks, 2 more steals.
Of course he's going to have more dimes than Marble, he plays point.

One of those games, UM played Binghamton, one of the worst D1 teams in the nation....

So if Burke's numbers were "un-freaking-believeable", then Marble's numbers were right up there too.
Again, not saying Marble SHOULD have won it, but to dismiss his game vs UNI is sort of anti-homerism.
