Tracking 2014 Class Offers

Ross Pierschbacher visited Alabama for the Iron Bowl. He is also heavily involved with Notre Dame and Wisconsin. Not liking our chances on this one.
 
with some of these responses, why rip the coaches for not recruiting top recruits, as you make it out to be they stand no chance at anybody but MAC level kids
 
Not surprising. His latest comments didn't reflect very well on where he saw the Hawkeye program.
 
the kid has been to Iowa this summer and fall several times, I doubt he commits before spring to anybody.
and I feel he comes to Iowa as I owa is still a top school for OL to get into the NFL
 
Update: Iowa has recently offered Justin Jackson of Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL). Jackson is a 4-star RB who has been high on Iowa for a while.

Edit: Interesting note--while editing the recruiting map for 2014 to include Jackson, I realized that I didn't know where Glenbard North is, despite living less than 15 minutes away from it for four years. After doing a quick search, I found that it is in neither Glen Ellyn or Lombard; it's actually in Carol Stream.

I like our chances with Jackson and Ross. I obviously would rather have Jeff Jones before Jackson but idk if we can pull that one off. I do think we'll be in it late with Jones. Think we'll take 2 rb's next season?

Wonder why we didn't offer earlier I would think he would have got a offer from us a while ago.

Jones is not a teammate of Rucker's. Rucker goes to Robbinsdale Cooper, and Jones goes to Minneapolis Washburn. Yes, they've traveled to Iowa to visit together once or twice, but their schools are 25 minutes away from each other.

just reported what was reported on another site about Jones, disn't realize they were posting false info.
unless they were lying on purpose
