Tracking 2012 Class Offers

Update made. I'm really happy about our class so far. In fact, I think that much of the Big 10 is recruiting pretty well this year.

I'm really happy about Fleming at CB. I also think that Ott will potentially turn out to be an Alvis-type player ... and that is a very good thing.

Lastly, I think that Wilson was a pretty significant pick-up!

And, what is particularly cool is that this is JUST THE BEGINNING!

So looks like Jaleel Johnson is down to us and MSU. Flemming had a tweet saying Iowa has a new recruit from chi town, could it be him or possibly smith?

I don't follow twitter, but word on the street is his best friend is basketball recruit KaDaryl Bell. I'm guessing him.

I like guys who recruit for us. JOSH.0 in Basketball, Nico Law last year and now if flemming pulls through I will like him too. Probably.

OT Cashman from NJ has committed to BC. I thought he looked like a good prospect for the OL. I have high hopes for Pirsig and Ward. We need a few OT prospects in this class.

I think smith. We'll offer him and he's ready to rock. What else could flemming be talking about unless it's diamond which would be SWEET

I saw a few tweets stating that Smith was to talk with Lester Erb tonight at 7pm and that was when he was going to know if we offered him or not. Haven't seen anything since however.

Is Hoke some kind of super-recruiter or what?

Hoke is a pretty tireless recruiter ... so yes. To make matters worse ... he gets to sell the Michigan name brand (which is one of the nation's most recognized college football "name brands").

To make matters worse ... Hoke is actually a pretty good coach too (and knows enough to place an emphasis on TEACHING too).

What about Kalis fufred? I had him pegged as a michigan kid as soon as he decommited from OSU.

Kalis went from saying he was going to be the leader of the OSU class to decommitting within 2 weeks. I think he is confused. Most expected him to commit on his UM visit last weekend but he didn't. I expect him to commit to UM at some point but OSU will pursue him until signing day. UM is looking at moving Diamond to guard which could be a sticking point but he is a heavy UM lean.
