Bennett is more of a slot receiver, and not nearly the physical, big WR that McNutt is.
Bennett missed at least 5 games last year with a bruised chest...not a phyisical guy.
Thomas is expected to be a special teams guy. Hester is probably going back to focus on kick returns. Schazenbacher might not even make the team after the drops late in the season from a guy who cannot afford to drop passes.
Weems is another special team guy, probably. Knox is totally uncertain,health-wise.
The Bears have 7 picks in the draft. They will go for best player available, probably a defensive lineman in the first round, and then probably a corner or lb in the second round. By round 3 or 4 they will be looking for a WR,mark my words. McNutt may not have the speed they are looking for, tho,to compliment the physicality of Marshall on the other side. Still, he might be the best WR available and a bargain in round 4. Cutler likes big WR's,and they have junked the old offensive coordinator,Martz, and his small WR concept....so look for a tall WR to be drafted. They want to build depth,so they may not require an immediate starter quality guy,but a young guy who can be developed, like the Packers have been doing so well in recent years.
