Here is my top 10 positives heading in to the Purdue game next Saturday. Feel free to add to this list ... but let's try and keep this thread "QB controversy free" ... plenty of threads already started on that. ![Cool  ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
10) We stabilized the ship with the win against Pitt. Two losses in a row would have been rough.
9) We no longer should fear the road. The Hawks have won 5 of their last 6 road games with the only loss a very respectable performance at Ohio State.
8) B1G saved some face this weekend. 12-1 overall and 4-1 against P5 conference teams.
7) Maybe the FG kicking will not be as bad as we first feared. Koehn's 52 yd. kick yesterday should build some confidence and the kid is leading the nation in touchbacks (16 for 19).
6) Plenty of tickets available in the $25-30 range for anyone interested in a road trip to West Lafayette.
5) Bye week after Purdue is timely ... no major injuries yesterday but we have some guys dinged up who could use the week off.
4) Indiana game at Kinnick should be more interesting than we thought. Nice win by the Hoosiers over Mizzou yesterday.
3) Hawks continue to play with discipline ... tied for 2nd in BIG with fewest penalties (despite a few bad calls the past two weeks).
2) LB inexperience no longer a huge fear. After the breakdowns in week 1 the LB play has been very good. Looks like we have five guys that can contribute.
1) The "silly season" is over ... the B1G slate starts Saturday.
