Yes, you can see it in his face. It's obvious he's much smaller than his 197lb frame 1 year ago. He didn't fully commit to 174 in the interview, but I think he'll be at 174 assuming he beats Ethen.
 




I guess we'll know more in less than a month. Hoping for bigger things from 149 this year. Also anxious to see how 165-197 shakes out.

Also excited to hear about Hawkeye recruiting prospects after this weekend! We're getting close to wrestling season fellas :)
 


If Gambrall and EL switch, it will make for a more solid lineup and offset any difficulties we might have at 41 and 49. 197 will probably suck again.

141- fringe AA (JD)
149- fringe AA (yeah, thinking of major improvement from Kelly)
157- NC
165- Mid AA
174- High AA
184- Low AA
197- NQ
HWT- Mid AA
 


Couldn't believe how thin/lean GG already is. Would love to see him compete at 174 as I think he would have a great chance at placing very high at Nationals this year. (especially with Ruth moving up to 184)
