I can’t believe we called a pass play when they were out of timeouts . A play action bomb play call from your own goal on a third an inch with a 6’5 QB????? This was some of the dumbest coaching In the history of this great game.

We can't hit our receivers in stride very often. Our runners first move is to get bogged down as they run into our own linemen. The offense is out of sync. Need to get the football into the hands of the talent we have.

Ehhh I'd respectfully disagree. Jackson, Linderbaum and Wirfs are all legit. Stanley hasn't taken many hits the first 3 games. I'm not concerned about the offensive line at this point.

All you need is one first down to run the clock out and seal the win. It is even more pertinent that we keep the ball because our secondary couldn’t stop them. So let just run the ball up the middle on first and second down. Then throw a short pass that is way short of the first down marker and get thrown out of bounds. DUMB DUMB DUMB. If your not going to throw for a first down just run the damn ball up the middle and leave them less than a minute on the clock.

The only thing stupider is what the Iowa State player did by running into his own player.

I thought it was a really good fake play action by Stanley; I couldn't tell if there were any other receivers down though.

Iowa needs better designed runs out of passing formations. Seemed it was stuffed everytime out of the gun. Might have been better to look to pass for first and audible to shot gun run play if it looked open.
