TJ is gone

No TE will have a better more complete highlight tape than TJ.. You include some of the blocking and pancakes he's had... Dude will turn some heads of those GMs that watch him.

Hope you wore more than your lucky shirt. It was chilly that day for October. My oldest son, then seven, wanted to take mind off that game by going fishing, I didn't argue, but made a mistake I would soon regret by not bringing an extra sweatshirt. It may have been decent at one in the afternoon, but I seem to recall it was one of those October days that got chilly in a hurry in the late afternoon shade.

Tax Free vs Taxable income. Butt’s $536,000 was tax free. Would be roughly the same.

Again this is just a hypothetical scenario. Nobody knows.

I’m not saying T.J. made the wrong decision, I likely would have done the same. I think he is a very good TE who will likely go in the top 2 rounds, however if for some reason he does fall to the 3rd round, the decision gets less clear.

I heard something on a sports station earlier today that the stock of Stanford's Bryce Love did nothing but plummet this year and he then trumped that by tearing his ACL. There's talk of one of the leading preseason Heisman candidates falling to the end of day 3 on draft weekend. Do you or anyone else know if he was draft eligible last year?

I encourage Mr Mel Kiper Jr to reevaluate his ranking of TJ. He's got him as his 5th best TE... I suppose he had Kittle as the 9th best TE the year he came out... Give me a break. The TE Bama has is pretty good. He's going to have good measurables too. But beyond him I can't think of any others I'd take over him. Maybe it's nit picking to say he's 3rd instead of 5th but suppose that's what I'm doing

Kind of funny. Dan Kadar has had Hock in the first round going to the Packers for awhile now. Sounds like he was getting some grief because Hock hadn't declared yet so he releases another mock this morning putting Fant in that spot to Pack.

Oops. He should have waited it out a couple more hours.

I have noticed Fant falling out of the first rd in a few mocks. Partly due to others declaring, and maybe just maybe, him not getting some exposure in the bowl game...??

He will most likely climb back up once he performs at the combine. You know how the NFL guys like those measurables.

This x1000. Probably the most underachieving team in Iowa history. I also think of it as the year I went to the Wisconsin game and saw that punt graze beyer’s leg right in front of me.

I’ve been saying this for 2 years. I love fant, but with the game on the line I want hockenson 100% of the time. Fant gets open better, but hockenson will never drop a pass.

Mel kiper is an actual scouting idiot and can bloviate better than anyone on air about any player at any level. His rankings are worthless.

Fant has dropped a few. His size and speed just make him a tough matchup anywhere on the field. Did we ever try a strait jump ball fade in the redzone to him? Because whatever NFL team he gets on will. Over and over. Their both going to be stud pros. But they'll be used differently.
