Good for him. Probably the right decision and I can't blame him.
No probably about it. Definitely the right decision.
You don’t know that. Nobody will ever really know for sure. I’m not arguing it’s a bad decision only noting that you have no idea either. No probably about it. Definitely the right decision.
Best move, why play for free when others are making millions off of you.Good for him. Probably the right decision and I can't blame him.
That said, I'll remember the 2018 season for "Iowa had four early NFL Draft commits on their team and were only able to go 8-4 with the easiest schedule in some time". Followed by, "We have to lower 2019 expectations...lots of pieces to replace."
are you implying kirk is comatose?Best move, why play for free when others are making millions off of you.
Hope he is an NFL star!
No worries, Kirk can do 7-5 in his sleep.
That depends on if they redshirt or not.. But yeah get your pointGet used to seeing two years out of our best guys from now on.
Cook intrigues me. He was getting some reps here and there towards the end of the year. Be pretty fun if he takes the reins and runs with them. Beyers is an athletic kid hope he can stay healthy. Weiting is obviously more of a blocker and damn good at it. I think we'll be alright in the TE departmentBeyers, Weiting, and Cook - the floor is now yours...
Obviously not, you can't write notes on your leg during a game when you are comatose.are you implying kirk is comatose?
Talk about waiting till the last min.. No surprise at all. TE U will just have to live up to the reputation and churn out some more.
Hopefully it's not the leg he pisses down when he coaches against Northwestern and Wisconsin.Obviously not, you can't write notes on your leg during a game when you are comatose.

What if he falls to the 3rd round in a very deep TE class this year? Mark Andrews went in the 3rd round last year and signed a contract worth $3.4 million with only $836,000 guaranteed.
Say T.J. came back to Iowa tore it up another year, seasoned his skills and increased his testing numbers and was drafted in the 1st round in 2020. Hayden Hurst was drafted in the first round last year and signed a contract worth $11 million with over $10 million guaranteed. See the difference?
Again I’m not arguing T.J. made the wrong decision, if I were in his shoes I’d probably do the same. Hopefully he tests well in goes on the first two rounds. Point being you don’t know that it was definitely the right decision.
