Time for a change

:mad:Thanks for everything you've done Kirk, but it's time to move on. You obviously have lost the abillity to motivate your players. Our defense has looked terrible this season and honestly, the offensive scheme has always been lackluster. The defense was just always good enough to take the attention off the predictable offense. Not anymore! I have never seen a group of players give up like this team has this season. I have bled black and gold for the last 20 years and I'm always excited to watch the Hawks play. But not this season. We gave up and gave such a poor effort. And before last season, the last three seasons were not acceptable either. So honestly, we have been riding the wave of one good season with a lot of mediocre ones. It's not good enough for me and it's shouldn't be for you either. We deserve better. And you overly loyal fans to Kirk, I admire you, but it's time to pull your head out of the sand. Nebraska is going to kill us over the next few years if we don't do something.
 
You should just jump ship now, because Kirk isn't going anywhere. You people overreact so much, it's funny.
 
dobhawk, guess the Orange Bowl for you is a distant memory. Were you saying the same thing about Tom Davis in 1998-99? Be careful what you wish for.

Exactly. If we fired Ferentz after this season, after all the success we've had since he's been here, no one would want take the job.
 
It's people like you why we are mediocre. You accept average. You probably got all C's in school, eh?

Who would take that job? KF is as good as it will ever get in Iowa City! You should sign him to another extension, not ask him to leave....

Speaking of pulling your head out of the sand, you sir, not only have your head in the sand but also fully up your ***...quite an impressive feat! I mean honestly, who do you think you are? You have absolutely no titles and are completely irrelevant on the national scene! Nobody cares and nobody worth their salt would ever take this job. You should just appreciate your 5th place conference finish now, because it only gets worse from here on out!!!

Keep being satisfied with this garbage. You want me to go away, you are the ones that need to go away. I want Iowa to be a top program and we never will as long as average underachievers like yourselves support this crap. Whenever good programs go through this, they make a change and demand better. People like you are just happy that we win any at all. You probably barely graduated high school.
 
I will not spend another dollar on seeing this team mail it in. That is the only way a fan can make an impact. Hold on to your wallet.

The laughing stock of the Big 10, and Iowa can't beat them. What can you say when there is nothing to say?
 
KF is NOT the problem. thanks for playing. This year was a monstorous dissappointment, yes. But we were in every game, execution (rather lack-there-of) is as to blame as anything else. KF will take the blame cause thats the guy he is, and yes coaching was questionable at times. No hawkey fan in this world takes these losses worse than me, just ask my wife. But KF deserves our respect. Winning is darn hard in this conference. Too many losses to average, or bad teams, absolutely. But we are 2 plays away from beating WIS and OSU, one on the coaches, one on the players.
