I hope Basabe comes around this year because we really need a low post scorer. Right now it seems like no one has an inside game and can just get the ball on the block and score.
This team needs a low post scorer.

Agreed. Zone offense looks pretty terrible right now with everyone just standing around the perimeter.

Agreed, a low post scorer would be good. But I think we need outside shooters more to keep teams out of the zone and sagging down in the paint. Our outside shooting/3 pt. shooting has been atrocious. Sounds like Oglesby is shooting it well in practice, hopefully he can figure out how to carry it over to the games and not just blowout games.

We really don't. I don't know what Mr. MVP did at camp, but I wished he'd start doing it against the 6'7" scrubs these cupcakes are throwing at him.

Fran has heaped mounds of praise on him, now it's almost like he has to deliver.
He's not getting set on his outside shot at all and is pressing.

They need time, so the non-conf should allow them to have that before the B1G.
Woody and Gabe are not going to be major scoring threats down low, really does put a lot of burden on Basabe's shoulders to be solid down there. Like to see McCabe get more touches low too, he is slightly undersized but has a knack for drawing contact and getting to the basket.

I couldn't disagree with this more. Outside of Oglesthree our 3pt shooting has looked much improved. Gessel is a huge upgrade over Cartwright, Clemmons has looked capable, McCabe is an excellent shooter, and May has always been solid. Marble has also improved noticeably here.
