This may be re-has...but announcers last night...

JFC. Some of you people are gripping way to hard. Dakich is who he is, but he isn't an Iowa hater.

Step away from the ledge. Some of you guys are starting to resemble insecure pathetic Clown fans. You're about two clicks away from dropping the N bomb on twitter.

Breathe deep. Exhale. Ahhhh...isn't that better?

You are right Crotch Itch is who he is and I can't stand him, he gave Iowa love last night because they were the better team. I do think he feels Fran is doing a great job.

Depends a lot on who leaves and who stays.

This. A list of guys who might leave:

Indiana: Zeller, Oladipo (also lose Watford, Hulls)
Michigan: Burke, Hardaway, Robinson
Michigan State: Harris, Appling, Payne (also lose Nix)
Ohio State loses Thomas, which will be a pretty big blow.
Minnesota loses Mbakwe, Williams and Welch, so they won't have the horses to challenge.
Illinois loses Paul, Richardson, and Griffey.

Wisconsin loses several seniors, but I think they'll be pretty solid again with Brust and Jackson in the backcourt and Dekker in the frontcourt.

If the majority of those guys leave, Iowa may very well be a favorite in the preseason.

I like Dakich. A refreshing change from the BTN guys...Morris and Doyle's acts are tired.
He loves b-ball,and knows the game. He goes off the cliche-****** to speak his mind. He has no axe to grind vs Iowa.

Now, Paul Biancala is an old buddy of Fran's so he will be a nice listen on Friday nite. He is the ESPN recruiting guru,so he will be able to weigh in on our talent, and maybe Jok,Uthoff and Meyer.

Looking forward to it. All fans seem crazed when it comes to announcers...I am concentrating on the game itself.

Hey, I haven't seen anyone say they're going to boycott games where he's announcing yet so let's take it easy there.

I think next year will be similar to this year where there are 5 teams that have a legit shot to win it. We will be one of those five teams. I don't think we will be a favorite, but we will be in the discussion. If games were 38 minutes long we would have been in the running this year.

Close games slow down in the last few minutes (aside from turnovers). We can't score in a half-court set. I think there is a connection there.

Is he an Iowa hater, or did he say Iowa may be THE favorite for the Big Ten next year? He did have a bit of an Iowa hate session on Twitter once, because he loves his IU buddy Alford. But he seems pretty positive toward the current program.

Dakich is NOT an Iowa hater and to be honest he's not bad as a commentator. When somebody suggests Iowa might be the favorite in the BIG next year, not quite sure how one can equate that into a "hater". No matter who refs or announcers our games, there seems to be a consistent group of "fans" who are gonna bitc$ no matter what.

SUCKED....Dakich or whatever his name is, is obviously an Iowa hater. He said very little about Iowa that was positive and has been that way all year. Other then they could be the favorite for the conference next year...he simply ragged on them all night...maybe it was just me! I feel better now.

Watched it with my daughter, Kate, and she mentioned it when she first heard the disrespect and as the game went on she started to vent a little bit about that biased clown Dakich and his on court demonstrations. He is fast becoming the Ted Valentine of basketball announcers......

What a nasty P****.......

My bad, thought he was a senior. Regardless, I feel pretty confident that he's going to leave.

Do not get to confident, Jon retweeted a site yesterday (I forget which one) that had Thomas projected as a 2nd round pick. I about fell out of my chair reading it and if any of it is true then it is possible Thomas could return for his senior year.

He is also nuts to proclaim Iowa as a potential favorite in the B10 next year.

We should be top 5, but "favorite" is a bit out on a limb.

Just part of the game he is playing.....

Punk had to say something good about the Hawks as unlikely as it was, to compensate for his praise of Indiana State while we were up 15 points......

For years I have heard his nasty shots against Iowa. I try not to listen to him. He is turning into a clown with his demonstrations. He is making a mockery of himself......

I personally can't stand him, just my opinion.....

Does anyone think he is serious when he says that Josh is the best three point shooter in the Big.....

Another one of the games he plays to mock the Hawks.....

How could someone who shoots 39 -137 be the best three point specialist in the Big......

I have been a fan of Josh from when he committed to the Hawks and praise his sure handling of the ball, he only had 18 turnovers, his passing is excellent, as good as anyone on the team and his D has vastly improved. This, however was not his year for threes, even though he was instrumental in a few wins when he did hit his threes......

I am confident he will turn things around next season......

It is a cruel joke to say he is the best three point shooter in the Big. That is how much of a P**** Dakich is.

I seem to be reading that there are some who were on Josh all season, but are falling for Dakich's little game.....

Everyone, EVERYONE, is out to get teh Hox. That they are able to field a team with the BoneG, NCAA, refs, and announcers all against them is a miracle.
