This Guy.

Then why doesn't their roster reflect that? It appears to me that they dominate their own home area, the Dakota's and Minnesota.
They’ve always recruited all over the country. In fact, they have 15 players from Florida, Georgia, texas and California. A lot of FCS schools recruit this way. Ndsu has a ton of kids from all over the upper Midwest from Wyoming, Colorado to Chicago to ohio. The perception they all come from nd and mn is false

I think you’d be surprised by that one. Kids want to get on the field. Nfl rosters are filled to the brim with players from all over. The one sure thing is that it’s hard to make it if you don’t play.

I'm sure that's probably why they have 2 transfers on their roster, one was from Iowa State. NDSU is a great plan B if you are from the midwest and none of the Big 10 schools are offering you. But they are dominating their local area for recruits, an area where they don't have much competition other than a few other FCS schools.

Almost every team in the midwest has to recruit from all over or they'd be filling their scholarships with players that don't belong playing in the FCS. Go look at South Dakota State's roster, they also have kids from Florida, Illinois, Arizona, hell they have one from Canada. I never said that they ALL come from the Dakotas and Minnesota, I said the majority of them do.

I just took a look at South Dakota's roster and they have more kids from Florida than they do their own home state!
