The World Did Not End!

Listen, both defenses played well. Both offenses played like crap. Our o-line just didn’t mesh today for some reason. This was a Murphy’s Law type of game. Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. But I’m confident they were thoroughly embarrassed by what happened today and will come back stronger against PedoSt.

At first Stanley reminded me of Ben Roethlisberger, but now he reminds me of Daunte Culpepper. He puts up decent stats against nobodies, but can't pick up the blitz and chokes in big games. Next man in.

Stanley against a blitz.

That is why him breaking Chuck's TD record might be the most insignificant and irrelevant, dare I say undeserving, accomplishment ever. Chuck was magical and a true gamer. Nate just isn't close. People will remember the OSU victory but what else?
Excellent reply.

Not unlike, say, Phil Mickelson, before he won his first Masters.

Could dominate a minor tourney against nobodies but usually managed to hose up on the big stage.

No different here.

Embarrassed? They should be humiliated.

Tv executives have to let out a collective F when they see Iowa on their list.

Most boring, unimaginative, slow football played anywhere. And the announcers have to spin a narrative of “old school big 10 football” like it’s a good thing

Guess what, it doesn’t fucking win you games. It bores everyone to death and makes Iowa a joke on the national scene. Fake ID of college football

Lost in all the talk about the play calling, NS, and the Oline, which were all bad, is the sad fact that our WRs still really cannot create separation on the edge. Smith made a nice contested catch but for the most part these guys struggled to get open. Also we’ve gotten nothing out of our TEs.

I thought aside from the crossing stuff the route running was really poor down the field. But again that is coaching. Correct? Is Nico our best route runner?

Let’s see.

We go from asking if Harbaugh gets fired after Hawks roll Michigan to

the world ends even though Iowa’s offense gave -3 in turnover, 8 sacks, 8 penalties, and Michigan “blows out” Iowa by 7.

They say he’s really good. Although I’m sure there are some that say Oliver Martin is 1000x better — and he gave up on the end zone fade

Lost in the offensive struggles was a terrific effort. Michigan's season was at the brink. They had to earn that win.

While as fans you can be critical and boisterous, but there is no reason to be ashamed. That stadium was loud and affecting Iowa's offense.

Time to chill and hope for better results at home.

Garbage BF did nothing to counter the man to man Michigan was playing. Pick and bunch formations would've worked and there is no excuse not scoring on a team Wisconsin rolled. Michigan is almost awful and the lack of creativity to adjust to a poorly managed team was unacceptable. BF calls plays like an O lineman he may be a coach someday but he isn't a coordinator.

Do broken records know when they are broken

No the world didnt end but a lot of fans who saw something possible with this team are disappointed, very disappointed.

I even thought they would be pretty damn good this year but still 8-4 with our schedule. I dont think that has changed as we just lost to a not great but average Mich team.

I can see Mich losing to MSU, PSU , and OSU to finish 8-4 and maybe another team as well

HAHA, seriously? Michigan isn't even any good. The stadium wasn't full at all. Our defense played with effort, but the offense outside of Goodson was pathetic. I don't think the fans are ashamed, but the coaches should be ashamed of themselves except for Parker. 4 penalties on the final drive? I don't think I have ever seen that before.

Michigan will lose all those games, and will get destroyed by PSU and OSU. They aren't good at all. We are just that bad on offense.
