He's just such a bad shooter and finisher at the rim. He can get a shot whenever he wants but it's not a winning play for thos team because he can't make them enough. He's at least smart enough to recognize it and limits his shooting except for the rare nights where he's on fire.

Iowa men and woman both have a tough stretch ahead, Iowa needs to win all home games and upset someone on the road. Woman need to win two tough road games to have a chance for the
Big Reg. season title. Interesting stretch for both teams. My daughter and I heading up to Minny for the Big woman's tourney, should be fun.

Defensively he was yeah.. He sucks on D big time. He can't matchup with anyone bigger smaller his size it doesn't matter. If he can't hit shots he's damn near worthless.
100% Those were bad losses.
What an ugly game... That's a game we shoulda got up by 20 at half and ran away with it. They started off pretty good. TP got 5 quick points the press was working then we couldn't hit the broad side of a barn (pun intended) How many shots within 5 ft of the basket did we miss? That was dangerous letting them hang around and hang around like that in the 2nd half. Gotta put teams like that away.
I'll be so glad when we are done with the Ulis Pg era... Fran runs such a fun up-tempo style of play yet he just can't seem to get a great PG. Can get great big guys and forwards and develop them. But all our Pgs seem to have glaring holes in their games. Ulis doesn't really have a strength at all. It's gotta frustrate the crap out of Fran. Ulis is halfway through yr 3 he should be able to do some things out there. But put up really paltry numbers against a beyond terrible MN team.
Alot of folks (namely me) have banged on Sandfort for playing so many mins and not having done much out there earlier in the year. But Ulis all yr long has had maybe 2 or 3 games where he's shown he's worth having a scholarship. For the mins Ulis plays to be invisible out there is tough to reconcile.

If they'd have really poured it on there's no telling what they coulda done. That was pretty wild. I mean 120-40 something wouldn't have been out of the question. Clarks passing was insane. She had like 5 highlight worthy assists. The bounce pass one she had was next level. I get a bigger kick out of how she makes those plays often while running at full speed then I do her deep 3s. (and those are damn impressive too)
She's the female version of Piston Pete best I can tell. I have nobody else to compare her to.
