THE OffICIAL TK GAME THREAD

Hauling outhouse...one of the best decisions I have made this year. Wife is happy.
I was going to say this story had to be fake news. I mean, you married ... happy wife.

C’mon.

But then you did say you were outside.

Just think how happy you could make her with indoor plumbing.

Looked to me like Stanley was trying to throw it to toren young out of the backfield but overthrew him. Since fant didn't run his route his defender intercepted the ball. Stanley missed his target and rushed the snap when he shouldve just called timeout
This.

Why can't I blame it on Fant, this was obviously a play that they had worked on for this game. Fant didn't even know the ball had been snapped, didn't look back once to the QB who was running a play specifically for Fant. Looked like he was supposed to come back to the ball and use a screen. He was still lined up looking strait ahead until the end of the play. When the crowd noise is making the team use hand signals, you have to be watching. He was catching a breath. Love Fant but that was clearly on him, that should have been a TD.

Nope that was also on Stanley forntrying to change the play with four seconds on the clock. Fant got the change and was communicating it out to the wife out. While he was doing that Stanley called for the snap of the ball and by the time Fant looked back the ball had already been snapped because Stanley ran out of time. That’s why Fant was out of position.

I agree with another post that said they should have run the ball and taken some time off the clock to really put pressure on Penn State.

We have indoor plumbing. 3 years ago my wife had me haul an old, old outhouse over to our place so that she could make it into a chicken coop so we (she) could have free range, farm fresh eggs, or something like that. The outhouse was never used for that because she spent $500 on another chicken coop. So, the outhouse "had to be" hauled away before the snow came. So, yes, that is what I during the second half. It was heavy and awkward and broke in two pieces but I was able to chain it and drag it out across the field and use the loader to lift it and crush it onto the rock pile. It was about a two hour job, in cold weather, and is dangerous so I had to think and plan, chains break and kill people. I also used a nylon tow rope but that broke under the strain. It was an exciting afternoon. After dark we went to Menard's to get PVC piping (about $150) for a new chicken fence, and some steel fence posts, about ($100) so a new chicken fence could be put up, better than the one she has now. While we were at Menard's she needed to go back to the pickup to get something. I gave her the keys. When she was done chicken shopping I asked for the keys back. She said she thought I had them. Nooooo....I gave them to you. No keys. "Oh, I must have laid the keys down somewhere in the store while I was shopping. I will have to go look for them." "Yes, dear, please do that because that is the only way we can get home with your chicken supplies." Later..."yup I set them down in the plumbing section when I was looking at some PVC materials." "Honey you are so patient with me." - Sigh

BTW it was the first time I got to use my John Deere 5520 with MFWD. It is a 90 HP, 2004, with 600 hours on the meter. 541 loader. Bought it in New York, sight unseen. It is sure nice. Lots more cattle/horse/chicken chores can be done with that thing. I now have 5 Deere tractors. I am planning to sell 2 this next spring. Maybe.

Thanks for listening.

That's 88 plays for 350 total yards.

If nothing else throw it out of the end zone to play it safe. A field goal would have put us closer, and we could have tied it with a field goal at the end.....

Hindsight and all that.....

Very disappointing game. We had them but were our own worst enemies, once again.....

Not certain what the answer is. Don't believe that Mansell should have been thrown into the game at Penn State, brutal atmosphere filled with hatred. Might make a negative impression that could be difficult to overcome.....

Ya changing a play with 4 seconds left is not a good ideal.
