Between the soul ensemble singing to the couple on the date, the animated team entrance spots, and Taco Bell's "Sunset Heart Hands" making an encore appearance, it looks like it's going to be a long winter for commercials.
I long for the Jake From State Farm ads. Those were pretty good. At least we don't have the turtle mascot hugging dork anymore.
I like the commercial where the guy tries to get a picture of the rare woodpecker, has his battery go low, then drops his camera as the bird flies away. That one is pretty good.

Toussaint struggled in this one. His outside shot is at best a work in progress. He still played hard and with good energy (8 rebounds) though, which is good to see.
If Nunge is out for significant time this team could be in trouble. We are going to be even slower than we were at the 4 spot.
Fredrick is a very good shooter. Garza continues to play well.
We will find out a lot more about this team next week.

Both teams played Creighton closer. Not sure on the final scores, but I watched both games and they struggled more than Iowa fwiw

There supposed to be a decimal in there-3.5%? 35% seems high but I guess they're using incomplete data from the season just under way.
Texas Tech is a young inexperienced team much younger than the 6-0 DePaul team we faced, they are beatable. Creighton was losing to North Florida at halftime and had a similar result as Iowa against Cal Poly. Syracuse has not beaten a power 6 school far, we will learn more about them Wednesday when they play Oklahoma State. Michigan is playing without the Wagner kid. Minnesota...Meh. Iowa always plays Iowa State tough. Cincinnati is 3-2 they have a new coach, a new system and just lost to Bowling Green, a team that has not been to the tournament in over thirty years.
I don’t understand why Iowa fans are over reacting so much this year. Our team has good players and are fun to watch. This could be a twenty win team. All teams have off nights, just look at Kentucky losing to 4-3 Evansville.
