I am so surprised that someone would ask this. Do you not know the rules on a medical redshirt?

Listen-up HN, this thread has met it's douchebag quota, so Huck and Gramps, stay the hell out.

To answer your question. Read tksirius' post. Maybe he can play in the bowl game if able and it doesn't affect his status. Or maybe he knows the medical redshirt isn't guaranteed and has a change of heart about playing in the bowl game.

Nothing is written in stone so I asked a question.
 
He will not be playing in the Big Ten Championship Game on Saturday.
It's my understanding that everyone gets to count that game whether their team plays in it or not, which is why he is under the limit. If he played in the bowl game, he'd be over it.
 
I think he may have been one of the guys who was holding the Hawks back, I mean look what we've done in the past three weeks without him.
