I agree with you Jon. What do you think about the fact that no one in the Big Ten is currently running this system? That is another plus, and that's also why I think it was a mistake for Drake to go away from the system. Tom Davis had Gary Williams and Ohio State to contend with, and Williams ran basically the same system as his mentor. The system also won a title for Williams at Maryland.

All true,fredhawk. I sure hope that Barta now understands the essence of the challenge for Iowa bb....recruiting overall,and recruiting black players specifically.
Lick seemed to repel black players, the opposite of what we needed. Get it right this time...Pearl,Pastner,Barbee,Drew,Williams....these guys can work both sides of the street.
