We will better chance in Philly than we did last weekend. With our depth we'll be close to all 9 into the quarters. That would mean, as compared to Big10s, at least one more round of points to build up, and bonus for alot of our guys. Going into quarters we're going to have a decent lead, all bonus points are going to be the capitol needed to stay ahead of Cornell and PSU when we start going to the wrestleback side.

PSU won't have 5 champs. Wright wrestled the best tournament of his college life, he won't be able to do it again. Long could be in the finals (I still have Oliver as the guy to beat at 133), but could easily be knocked off by Graff, Ramos, Hoch, etc. Molinaro had an easy Big10, at NCAA he'll run into Dake and/or Caldwell. Ruth will have to wrestle Lewnes in the semis, and I'm giving the rematch to Lewnes. Hopefully Jenkins, Hall, or Fittery can knock off Taylor (I don't think they will).

Penn State also won't have the two wrestlers that scored bonus points in their 7th place matches.. they didn't qualify I believe.

My take on PSU:
125 - n/a and junk even if they do get a WC
133 - Long won't do as well as he did last year. He'll get knocked out early and has no chance to get past Oliver. I don't see him beating Ramos or a handful of others either. Graff should take him unless he wrestles like the ***** he was yesterday.
141 - Alton has no shot... maybe AA but I highly doubt it.
149 - Molinaro will do well but will get rolled by Caldwell
157 - Taylor should win it, but i'm starting to see some chinks in the armor
165 - n/a
174 - Ruth could win it all, but he has started to struggle as of late. I see him getting 3rd or 5th
184 - Wright may get AA but I doubt it... that shoulder is going to flare up and he skated by BTs... scraping by each match... his match in the final was a gift as he got some BS calls
197 - n/a
HWT - Wade is the most overrated HWT in the nation and has been all year. I don't see him placing.

I predict Taylor gets championship for PSU and that's it.
I think McD gets it for us... BUT

IA > PSU at 133
IA > PSU at 141
IA << PSU at 149
IA < PSU at 157
IA >> PSU at 165 (gotta make hay here big time)
IA < PSU at 174
IA - PSU at 184 (i'm giving Gambrall the benefit of the doubt here with his dual win against QR although his shoulder was gone... I don't like the way GG has wrestled this year... he's too soft... but he stepped up big when it mattered yesterday)
IA >> PSU at 197 (see 165)
IA > PSU at HWT

If you take out McD and Taylor, I like us 5-3 in the remaining weights with a wash at 184.
Difference is this... 165 and 197 are chances for tons of points. It won't win the tourney but it may be the most important factor. If Janssen and LL place AA or better, we will be tough as hell to beat.

The way Ramos and DSJ are wrestling, you have to feel good about them.
Montell sucked at BTs but also was one crap 60 second stretch from being in the finals. Kennedy is the worst matchup in the Nation for MM. A technical senior who doesn't make mistakes and has been there done that over and over again.

Ethen Lofthouse is huge... if he can offset many of Ruth's points... we get a big plus here. I like the way he's coming on.
