It's just sad (and hypocritical) that some people's only way of coping with a terrible season is to be pessimistic about a program in another conference that has the momentum right now. Big deal, it has nothing to do with our future in the Big 10. We have a lot to look forward to and I couldn't care less what goes on over in cow****erville. Apparently ghost derp is obsessed though.

But even my wife said Iowa sucks this year and she doesn't know anything about football. I refuse to believe that anybody can delude themselves so much as to think that Iowa was just inches away from being a good team this year.

Maybe he doesn't have a sound mind?

I agree, people need to leave ISU alone, it's like a wild animal if you keep feeding it then it comes back the same time everyday.

So close, yet, so, so far. Apparently that guy needs new glasses, maybe some contacts and a hearing aid because I didn't hear or see anything that would lead me to believe Iowa was even close to a 9-3 team.

the game against ISU shouldn't count. ISU should have won by 4 TD if they didn't turn it over in the red zone. Just saying.

The general response to the OP by most people was to talk in reality not "what ifs" or "shoulda, woulda, coulda", therefore ISU only won by 3 points NOT 4 TDs. I agree ISU could have but they didn't.
 
Wrong in 2000 Iowa had 3 wins.I think back on the hand full of plays that could have gave us a winning season as I am sure the players do and they will learn what it takes to win the close ones.

I would contend that 2002, 2004 and 2008 and even 2009 offenses were pretty exciting. I think we led B1G in scoring in 2002. 2005 under Tate and no RBs was fun. 2008 because of Greene. 2009 with Stanzi and all the 4th quarter comebacks.

Now granted 3 of the years listed the O was maybe not considered prolific on a national scale but I'd say they were "exciting" in their own regards.

Positive posting not allowed on this board. All the "real" hawkeye fans are sposed to have temper tantrums and repeat the same negative ish 10 times a day.
