The Big 12 is Dead

Texas for one is not leaving the Big 12 and neither is ISU. The Big 12 may be rebranded if OU leaves but it will still be a semblance of the Big 12 and merge with the Big East and add a BYU. In my opinion, OU is going no where and is only pushing their agenda to get their own network or split up the LHN to be more of a conference network.

Then what would that make Iowa, cause if I remember right Iowa was our punching bag on Saturday.

Beating Iowa does not add television sets for isu. The clown fan base will never grow any larger than it currently is. They would only dilute the profits of any conference they join. They have a tiny fan base that is basically limited to central Iowa.

In the end this will not be based on TVs you can count on that.

Now it's 3 out of every 4 posts Pakistanzi.

You aren't very good aat pretending to sound like you know what you are talking about.

Texas knows it has to beg the B1G or join the PAC. Also, of course the clowns won't leave the b12. They have nowhere to go!

This is from someone I follow in the realignment stuff, and yes I do know a little about what is going on.

Even if Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M all leave Big 12, it will stay together if Texas wants it to. Think BYU, SMU, Houston.

Yes of course. How silly of me to think television networks has anything to do with it.

Yes! I see now. It's based on who can beat iowa. Beat the hawks and get a free pass into a new super conference.

I have heard that in times of crisis people have issues with rational thinking.

You dont think politicians and lawyers will have a say in all this IF the Big 12 collapses which likely wont happen?

I can play too. http://www.statesman.com/sports/lon...three-viable-realignment-options-1851020.htmlhttp://www.statesman.com/sports/longhorns/sources-texas-has-three-viable-realignment-options-1851020.html

I think people cook all sorts of frantic politician conspiracy theories on cyclone fantastic and you buy into them. Mostly because it's a defense mechanism. The probability of the league dying terrifies you. I also think that in the clown victory over Iowa you have grabbed on to a false sense of security over the matter. In due time you will be very angry and frustration will show.

Thats his propaganda not the University of Texas'. It is very apparent that the UT wants the Big 12 to live on and will do what they can to make it. But to be honest a change in this conference is not going to come from them its going to come from the loss of OU. A large amount of change will occur if OU leaves. But hey I will echo what Pollard said, take the hands off the panic button, there is a plan or plans but they cannot be discussed at this point. ISU will have a spot in the end and thats all that matters whether that is the Big 12, Big East or ....

Doesn't scare me at all, why would it? ISU has been in a power conference since the 1800's that will not change.

You mean the power conference that included grinnell college?

What conference was isu a member ofnin the 1800's

Well, yes. In the 1800's Grinnell was a power team. You're aware there was no BCS then, right?

ISU will remain in an AQ league and I'm not sure why that bothers you so much?

So you're going to replace a national power in OU and 2 top 25 teams in TAMU and OSU with the likes of BYU, SMU and Houston??? I'm sure Texas is jumping all over that! Why wouldn't they? It's three guaranteed wins every year. You just became Conference USA! LMAO at you!!!

Ya because replacing good teams with garbage is good for a confrence. Is this the clowns plan to win the big 12 for the first time EVER?

Im sure Texas is thrilled to shell out money to the rest of the teams to keep the big 12 floating.
