Sweet 16 Thursday Thread

WV keeping it close. games not turning out how i'd thought, so far. still think WV and 'Cuse will pull away in the second half.

Yeah Syracuse picked the wrong year to get a #1 seed, with the East regional on their home floor. They just look flat tonight.

NOT so fast my friend! Butler won't fold...they're not your "flavor of the tourney" mid-major! Not to mention, Syracuse has had some real stinkers this season!

LeMoyne or however you spell it has a good case for a #1 seed. Can't believe they didn't even make the tournament :D

I agree, I think the Orange are about to get squeezed out of the tournament. I hate to say it, but the rest of this tourney is Kentucky's to lose. Who is left that will stop them?
 
IMO Lickliter doesn't run a true "Butler Style". Having watched Butler/Ohio State the past 3 seasons. I'm curious more than ever to know what Lickliter style was? Seriously It not close to anything I see right now on the court.

This game is far from over.. Syracuse will push Butler and Butler better be ready when they push.. Syracuse is a very, very good team.

Haha...I remember Dan Patrick having Boeheim on after that exhibition loss! I wonder how they did in D-II this year!?!?
 
Butler does an awesome job of spreading the other team out. They create one on one match-ups. They are very well coached.
 
Here come the CUSE!!!!!!!!!! They now lead 40-39..

Like I said earlier. Syracuse played so bad in the first half Butler will regret not being up more.
 
This is the part where I go back and delete my post about Butler not folding, so as to not look like a fool as Syracuse goes on an 800-4 run to start the 2nd half...:eek:
