Student Tickets

I have been a long time season ticket holder, my son is a student now and bought a student ticket for his still in hs girlfriend to join him this week, is that student ticket going to get her in the door or do they REQUIRE student ID?

Pretty sure you have to show a student ID along with the ticket. There is a separate student guest ticket, but that is only sold as a season ticket I believe. Just have her borrow another girls' student ID.

In years past if you are there when the doors open you can rush past everybody and take a seat.

Yep. If you happen to get a "reasonable" ticket taker they'll just wave her through unless she looks 35.(as it should be) But I wouldn't count on it.

What if you contacted the ticket office to see if you could swap out for a "guest ticket"?

When I was there she would need a student ID... they don't check them closely, or at least they didn't 7 years ago.. I had a male friend get in with a girls ID and a black friend get in with a white guys ID... the ticket checkers didn't seem to mind

Unless it has changed......"A" student ID is all she needs, it doesn't have to be hers, and it isn't like the downtown bars.....I am not even sure if it is illegal. They don't look that close.

Back in 04 for the Iowa State game I didn't even have a ticket and got in during the initial rush
