STORY: The Hawkeyes May Have Found A Punter

I found this interesting "He’s right-footed but capable of punting with either foot."

I can't but think his cousin really helped bridge that gap with Iowa and his interest in Iowa. Maybe just by playing in Kinnick and experiencing that atmosphere. Maybe his cousin told him about Iowa and the fans. If not, how does that much interest just come out of nowhere from somebody not from this country. There had to be some kind of link and I suspect it was his cousin talking up Iowa and the BIG conference. Great for us!

I love that he would “go and have a kick with his cousin”. God bless Australia.

Also...”Iowa fans have the look” not sure if this is a compliment or not

Rastetter's uncle gonna stop donating now? You would think so in reading some of the conspiracy theories on this board.

Steve, I love ya man, and I'm no conspiracy theorist, but it's pretty much painfully obvious that Uncle Bruce was the reason Rastetter was our punter for two seasons. There's literally no other reason someone that bad at their job would keep their job for two full seasons unless there was more to the story. Our QB punted farther than our punter and our QB didn't even look like he was trying.

I knew it, in his heart he's really a Hawkeye. :) He just learned a tough lesson in being careful in who to trust.

Stanley punted in HS too I'm kinda surprised we didn't have him kick more.. Since our other options were what they were...
