Iowa's getting better? Hoping that's the case as opposed to catching teams at the right time (which certainly doesn't hurt).

Looking at the games at Neb and Minn, they were as close to wins as they come, so that was 5 games where Iowa won or very nearly won. Not bad for the group we have.

It's going to be good to see when Jok gets going again. Hopefully soon. Peter Buckets is missing a lot of open shots that he would have made in November. He's rock solid on FT'S and has made some greats assists the last couple of games. Single handily won the Indiana game.

Baffling would be what's happening with IL, a senior laden team that still can't figure it out and loses to Rutgers to end the season. Iowa is not baffling. It's not confusing, it's not "what the heck?" It's the 8th youngest team in college basketball and they've played above their heads as the season progressed and given themselves the opportunity to dance despite their youth. It's actually very clear, understandable and easily digested.

Lots of things are clicking right now.

1) Baer's out of his mind right now from 3. Add that to his arsenal and he's like one of the best players in the country.
2) Cook was injured earlier in the year and between dealing with that and adjusting to the college game but it seems as though a lightbulb has gone off as of late.
3) Yesterday after the win, Fran mentioned Pete saying something about being back. Pete may be getting back to full health and we saw how dangerous he was earlier in the year but now he's got other guys playing well.
4) In addition to Baer and Jok as 3 point threats, we have JBo and Ellingson.
5) Cordell just brings attitude and energy. He's kinda like Baer that he impacts the game in lots of ways. He's drawing charges and even has a few blocks so he makes some plays on D and he converts the opportunities around the rim when he gets them.
5) The rotations and roles just seem to be pretty well figured out everybody seems to contribute. Moss is a guy that I would like to see get more PT. Christian Williams has come in and played well a few games back. Wagner had a huge steal and bucket against Wiscy. Kriener has had a few games where he was in double digits.
