Nice attempt, but you have to make some sense in your troll if you want someone to bite.
In other words, it's obvious Rudock is the clear choice going forward and you can't take your foot out of your mouth.

It's R-U-D-O-C-K.
CJB's limited throws were absolutely terrible. I would have put Rudock back in, too.
I like CJ, but he didn't appear to have it today.
It's also very obvious Rudock got most, if not all, the reps with the first stringers. If Ferentz truly wanted to see growth with both QBs, he would have Rudock practice with the ones at times and CJB practice with the ones at other times. We all see how well CJB performed when he got practice time with the ones (and how quickly he responded to the practice). Why would KF want to deliberately hurt his team by not practicing CJB with the ones at times? The only answer I can come up is KF doesn't see CJB contributing much to the team. He's made this decision already. He made this decision the week of the Indiana game. And well, we all know from Ferentz, if CJB doesn't get to practice with the ones, he doesn't get to play much.Ummm...do the posters in this thread know that KF said that JR was clearly the starter, but that CJ would get game time. What the hell did you expect? If Rudock is playing well and we are scoring points, he's going to play the majority of the game. If he's struggling and we need a spark then CJ may get more of the snaps.
If Rudock plays like he did today, CJ isn't going to see more than a series or two and eventually that may be reduced if we keep winning with JR getting the majority of the playing time.
oy vey...would you please tell that to my spell check on cell device...for the record, I don't purposely misspell any player or coaches name...never intentionally, it is not in my nature. Didn't mean to offend you or any other grammar police.
This is my only alt, I used to be Section136.

CJB doesn't get to play much and it's KF's decision.
Wow, feel horrible for CJB. Here's a guy that was entrusted with the offense for the 2nd half of the Pitt game (in which he flat outplayed the starter) and then played a great second half on the road in his first college start only to have KF takes the keys away when the Hawks have a 16-point lead. Nothing says 'fair' competition like that. JR had one good quarter against a horrible Indiana defense (they gave up 45 to Bowling Green too) and then it was the same old Iowa. For his sake, I hope CJB takes the first bus out of Iowa City at the end of the semester and heads to some place where he gets an opportunity to showcase his abilities.
But but jake got an A+ once on a test!!Obviously the rules aren't the same for both QBs. Rudock leads a TD drive, gets to stay in. Beathard leads a TD drive, he doesn't. Rudock goes three and out, gets to stay in. Beathard goes three and out, he doesn't.
Rudock might give us a better chance to beat the terrible teams on the schedule today, but Beathard is still the QB with tons more upside that Iowa needs if it wants to do anything more than go 7-5/8-4 against an incredibly weak schedule.

Now how can you say that comment that I bolded? Unless you have some total insider info you cant say that.
I think CJ just had a rough start and did not throw the ball well today but I also thought the plays under him were iffy
Jon's article said Jake did in fact get most of the 1st string reps during the bye week...
Thumbs downJon doesn't have such insight in the program, from what I've seen in his articles and heard on his podcast. I think everyone is echoing one tweet from Marc Morehouse, which may or may not be accurate.
No matter what CJB does, his supporters excuse and spin, excuse and spin. They can't even support Rudock when he plays very well.
