I’m really cheering for this young man. Maybe because his team blasted that loud mouth JUCO coach at Independence last year. He seems like a really nice find for Iowa.

He's built like Barry Sanders, who had that low center of gravity and strength. Looking forward to seeing the Sarge this year.
He throws some killer blocks in that highlight reel.
Some of you guys have some curious comparisons... Sargent is 5'10 210 right? Well Freddy Russel was like 5'7 190ish. Barry Sanders was like 5'8 200. Sanders was unique as it gets with his running style. I would compare Sargent more to a guy like Albert Young who was listed at 5'10 209.... Could run between the tackles hard and catch passes...
Depends on where you look, his hieght and weight vary a bit. Sounds to me like he has a ton of will though. Will can pack one heck of a wallop!!
I'm excited to see all 3 backs. They each not only claim to be different, but people that have watched them more have confirmed it.
Gotta love TY and his "I thrive from running through guys" attitude. Get him some one on one blocks and his will is to truck your arse. IKM is more of a if they have experienced secondary and everyone is closing in his will is to find the crease and take it to the house. Sarg seems to be a little bit of both??
Basically you could play Sarg and back him up with either TY or IKM as a change of pace, or play TY or IKM and Sarge as a change of pace back.
Versatility is a wonderful option to have in a unproven backfield.

Boy, I'm excited to watch this young man. He's tough and plays bigger than he is, bounces off would be tackles, has shiftiness and cuts. I think he is a terrific find and could be a known product around the BIG by the end of the season. He may get the 2nd most touches by the end of the year.
He knows how to block and doesn't shy away from blocking. He also knows how to take hits or how to avoid taking hard hits which should help with his durability. I think Iowa found their very own Darren Sproles type player.

This is big, Iowa will need this with inexperienced guards.

When I look at the video he looks small height wise and I doubt he’s 5’10”. I was talking like FR size to hide behind them but boys up front and burst through the hole. I expect the same IKM as well.
Think Iowa is set up nicely at RB with versatility and will be able to send RB out as WR and be more multiple. Really think Iowa surprisss some people and goes more towards that Patriots AH/Gronk looking O from BF days with them.

I would guess Sargent is an inch taller than Sanders and 5 lbs more. Wasn't comparing running styles or skills though. Barry was the most explosive back I ever saw. AY might be a good comp on running styles.
