You even brought up his PER which is 9.1 and you think he looks like he belongs? If anything I think his defense is worse than I expected so far and he's only shooting 29% on the season
Sigh.......
So from what you have seen you think he is gonna shoot under 30% for the season and have a 9.1 PER or less?
I believe his shooting percentage will go up, not sure about her PER because I'm not sure how well he'll handle the ball and defend in conference play. To come at me like I was proven wrong about him so far this season though doesn't even make sense
No worries man, I was just trying to give you an opportunity to back track and save some face. We can revisit later, I'm confident you are gonna look like a fool when it come to Jordan......
Well so far I've been right so I guess we'll see. I hope I'm wrong
LOL.....you are wrong already, and it is funny that you can't see it.
I'm guessing you are going to put all your eggs in the PER basket then, because clearly he is going to do just fine at PPG and APG. What is the PER rating he has to get to in your mind to not be a bust?
Also you do understand that even the guy who created the PER rating said to take it with a grain of salt, because the defensive component is shaky at best.
I would say so far I am. Our PG position has been bad offensively and very bad defensively and we're 3-4 right now. Hopefully they both continue to improve and I end up wrong but Bohannon has a 9.1 PER right now which is extremely poor
PER is not the be all and end all but it does tell you a lot of things about a player.
If only we had an All American on our team we could be as good as we were last year...
Completely agree, it's not perfect but it shines some light on people that only look at PPG
Ok, what PER is acceptable then? 9.1 is not acceptable for you, and Mikes 13.4-15.3 is way more than acceptable to you as you keep using Mike as an example.
So if he falls short of Mike his Fr. year and have say a 12 PER, would he be a complete bust like you said he would be before the season?
No kidding! I'd take just Mike back though at this point
I think a starting lineup of JB, Jok, Cook, Uthoff, and either Baer or Pemsl is at least as good as last year's starting lineup.
I don't have a PER benchmark for him no. If we don't even make the NIT and are PG play is still a weakness then I'm going to say his season was a bust
Offensively it may be just as good but defensively not even close
LOL, so now the whole team rides on Jordan Bohannon's play.....and not only that if the backup PG is a bust, then Jordan is a bust as well. I gotta say at least you are consistently an idiot.
BTW if we don't make the NIT it will be because Jok and Cook are beyond horrible defenders as well.....
The game will be more difficult for Bohannon once opposing teams start taking away the things he likes to do.He's not a true PG. That's all I said and it's accurate.
I think Bohannon will get better. He's got a motor at least. I'd much rather have him at PG anyway. All things considered, I'd rather we just recruit some PGs.I would say so far I am. Our PG position has been bad offensively and very bad defensively and we're 3-4 right now. Hopefully they both continue to improve and I end up wrong but Bohannon has a 9.1 PER right now which is extremely poor
