Yelp, we get Villanova. If Kansas isn't good enough to beat them, they obviously wouldn't be a match for Iowa.

Who would've thought Iowa wins the first two and not face KU in the title game.
I think this time of year, much easier playing a team of freshmen, no matter how many stars they have.
Nova has some veteran guard play and will be a great challenge

This was best case scenero for ISU fan. They can tell themselves that there is no way Iowa can beat Kansas. Last thing ISU fan wanted was Iowa playing and beating Kansas......worst nightmare ever for ISU fan.

You wonder if that win is more than enough to satisfy their tourney. Wi be interesting to see if they can successfully ride the momentum or if it took everything out of them to pull off the upset.

Exactly. Especially since KU will still beat iowa state in ames and Lawrence.
Ive had worse nightmares. They involve Bo Pelini and Bill Self.

Someone mentioned that Kansas was only a 5 point favorite over 'Nova. If that is accurate, then obviously Villanova has a quality team. Only being a 5 point favorite being the #2 team in the country just seems odd.

An undefeated record looks better than a (potential) loss VS Kansas.
