Shocking Story on Everson/Satterfield Trial

isn't it at all possible she knew what was going to happen, and is why she went in?

The implication from your quote is that she probably isn't "Miss little bluebird", and I would agree with that.

Our courts hold this idiotic notion that men are born with criminal intent and women are born virtuous. BULL****, both genders are flawed. Men are violent and women are liars. Those 2 traits define both genders more than any other.

Careful Alex....you're steering close to one of those "politically incorrect" truths that can be dangerous. Oprah may send her mafia after you.

agreed - especially if this room was known as a sex-room. the big unknown is if she was passed out when Everson went in.

I find much of this discussion to be in poor taste, and some of it disgusting. I had my share of fun in college, and I can say without question that none of my partners ended up on thier friends doorsteps in tears with significant vaginal bleeding. Furthermore none of them went to the ER for a rape kit in which the results were inconclusive due to large amounts of blood in and around the vaginal opening.

If I knew nothing else of the case other than that it would certainly signal to me that something terribly wrong occured.

watch
And let me add something else to upset the politically correct Nazis. Many young white and black men glorify gangsta rap along with its creators. Those young men gravitate toward warped values and behaviors. And those young men have millions of enablers in all those American citizens who falsely claim they never "JUDGE" anyone for their personal "TASTES".

You're completely right, especially when you take into account the testimony today of Mike Daniels. First he says he knew the woman but stayed away from her because she was "too friendly with people." Then add to that his responses below when questioned about the night of the assault:

Did the woman appear to be intoxicated? No
Slurring her words? No
Having trouble walking? No
Seem different than normal? No

To be fair to the girl, just because she was "overly friendly" to everyone doesn't mean she was loose. I know a girl or two who are virgins, but they are quite friendly. They're just major teases. If that's the case with this girl, she was still being foolish by acting that way, but it would still constitute rape.

Something did go terribly wrong that night. And if you think only one gender orchestrated that nightmare you live on Planet Pollyanna.

The guys in question here aren't good guys. They deserve to be in jail. I hope they are. I don't know the girl but no one deserves what happened to her. For those of you suggesting in any way she did....please consider if it was your sister, mother, or girlfriend. If it was my family or loved one i'd probably be the one in court........so I'm glad it wasn't.

It doesn't matter if she was a prostitute. If she was incapacitated (meaning either asleep, passed out, or even drunk), it would be considered rape under Iowa law. She could have gone hog wild on Satterfield but if she was unable to give consent to Everson, it's sexual assault.

Point to one person that is suggesting that.

She may have but if she said no those bad choices and the situation should have stopped. We may disagree but that's the way I see it

The point is. No one is saying she "deserved it" they are saying she made poor decisions. You do see the difference in those two right?

except there has been testimony that she wasn't asleep. she says she was. perhaps she did give consent and didn't recall.

to the person who said think if this was your mother, sister, etc. think if this was your brother, your son, etc, and it was not rape. they have to prove this beyond a reasonable doubt. and it takes two to tango. it's just not clear i.e. they broke into her room, etc.

Obviously it should have stopped at "no". All anyone has said is that she could have shown a little more discretion to not leave herself vulnerable. That's not the same thing as "asking for it" or "deserving it".

i saw this women on TV testifying. I did not reconize her nor was her name revealed. they said she was a heavily recruited athlete. Was it for basketball? i see where a basketball player from this years team testified today.
