Cause obviously its Riley, the players, and Oregon States fault. Oh, and his d coordinator....that he brought from UCF....who had a very avg defense in a lesser conference.

But...he won a natty in '97....with an all world team around him...after....wait for it...transferring from Stanford (and was Not welcomed with open arms, by the way)....so it's all good.

A true leader takes responsibility for everything that happens in their program; practice, game-prep, and gameday. Everything. Seems that Scotty feels that is beneath him to shoulder that burden.

Did he really say that? Holy crap. I know he's a young coach but dude.... That's not gonna turn them around any faster. That game was on the coaches. The players had them a 2 possession lead with under 5-4 mins to go I think right? Coaches have to put them in the position to win that game from that point on. Unreal.

He's a tool! I kept hearing how he doesn't yell at his players and he wants them to not be afraid of making mistakes etc. etc. etc. Now he throws his players and coaches under the bus regularly in his pressers. It's only taken 6 games for the great and wonderful fans to doubt his abilities. Hehehehe

Frost had a very privileged playing career and landed in some cushy coaching spots. Real leaders show their true colors when faced with adversity. Frost is a spoiled kid who's being slapped with a big dose of reality. I'm guessing he'd take the d-coordinator comment back if he could. Just needs to cowboy up.

If I'm being honest...I've been impressed by the way he's using Martinez and they've run some pretty interesting stuff on offense. He just coaches like he has a much better team than he does. Why he shut that team down with a 14 point lead, I'll never know. It's not like his defense has held up anywhere. He's terrible with the media...flat out terrible.

He's blaming his players...when he does that, "I can't believe what's happening to us" stuff. Well Scott, if you would have gotten a few first downs and played aggressive offense (your best side of the ball) to get the elusive first win...you would not have been in overtime and a false start and bad snap would have never happened. They lost that game with 3 minutes left when they tanked their offense for the second time.

True that! Never heard KF deflect responsibility his first year and I think the records at this point in first year were the same.

AD Bill Moos isn't the most adept orator either. It's a fantasy land over there. That said, I think Nebraska is much better than their record. If we don't come to play, we could end up as Northwestern should have.
