Saturday .... all Ia fans will be ISU fans

It might have been stated already, but Paul probably needs a win against Okie State to save his job. Win and maybe he remains coach there next year.
 
I have zero desire to see ISU win. Hope they keep getting bitchslapped back into that craphole they crawled out of.
 
Don't think of it as rooting for Team Cyclone. Think of it as rooting for Team Chaos. Iowa is also part of Team Chaos. Any team that throws a wrench into the traditional blue-bloods always winning is part of Team Chaos. Boise State back when they beat OU...part of Team Chaos. ISU when they beat OkSt...part of Team Chaos. Both Iowa and ISU can play their part in Team Chaos this year.
 
Bitter crowd here! I will root for ISU normally when they don't play Iowa. I root for all Iowa teams pretty much when they don't play Iowa, esp if it benefits the Hawks. Am an Iowa boy from the start, so why wouldn't I?
 
Are they going to have the game on the radio this week or will we have to wait for the morning paper to see if they won?

ISU fans would NEVER root for Iowa.

I also pull for ISU when not playing Iowa. Gets tougher all the time though.
 
I don't think it even matters. The reality is if OK runs the table, they will pass over Iowa. I think that's the most likely scenario. I think OK looks like the best team in the country right now. It looks that way anyway bc they are the only little 12 team that plays defense. I suppose Baylor could run it, too but that seems less likely playing in Stillwater and also playing OK w a new QB.

OU lost to Texas. No way they pass over Iowa unless Iowa drops one of their remaining regular season games. That loss simply looks too horrible. Texas got shut out by Iowa State and OU lost to them. It doesn't matter how well OU is playing. They will not pass over Iowa unless Iowa slips up.

This may be true for the mouth-breathing message board fans, but I have lots of friends that are ISU fans and they all root for Iowa when not playing ISU. Some of them even own Iowa shirts for when they come down for a random tailgate.
