Sat draft thread

I guess we now see one of the reasons the Hawks had a little bit of difficulty converting those third downs this past year. Hate to see the streak end. Wisky is now TE U.

Ok, so Kendricks goes pro and Reisner doesn't in the draft and that makes Wisky TE U? Granted, I don't know where Kendricks went, and more power to him being a solid TE and in the Big 10 getting drafted, but how is Wisky now turning into TE U?

I agree that Reisner is not looking so good as a possible TE free agent and the streak has ended, but Wisky tight end U? Please explain...

Hindsight being what it is, it probably would've helped Sash to come out LAST year in the draft as opposed to coming out this year or coming back for his senior season next year. IMO, his stock was never higher than it was after his RS FR year, but he didn't do much to damage it after his RS Soph year and we were just coming off of a BCS bowl win.

Alas, hindsight is 20/20...

Like has been said before, he is an older junior and I can't fault him for going pro. Keep in mind that he isn't the first junior to go pro and get drafted late or even not at all.

In some of some of those cases it was because of off the field issues and/or injury issues.

This is a case of possibly the injury thing, but it's been a while since for Sash.

The Giants in this draft have done a great job of grabbing "the next best player". I think they did it in this instant. More power to them as it will pay off.

A 23 year old junior? I wonder how many years he was held back? He probably started playing football because he was "bigger" than the other 6th graders.

Sash has been at Iowa for 4 years and will graduate as a 22 year old RS junior. He redshirted his freshman year, which is why his age is off a year. But don't let that get in the way of your schtick.
