If the offense doesn't go through Marble next season, especially if he continues to work in the offseason, then there will be something wrong.
I do agree that there will be others that will be able to create, but I think Marble will demand the ball and be Iowa's true go-to player that they haven't had since, well, it has been so long...
If Marble doesn't start at the PG early, it will mean that Gesell or Clemmons is for real. I have been in Marble's corner as a PG for three years, since he said he was coming. He made a transition in HS and all his numbers improved and he didn't play garbage competition in HS.
The only real issues for Marble are if he can fill out his frame and get a solid 3-pt shot.
Marble right now wants the ball, think of how much more effective he will be when he gets stronger.
