What makes him wrong is this "I think Michigan State's defense can slow down Mark Weisman" They could not last year when it counted. No one has this year either. Let's see him try to tackle Mark Weisman. Iowa has something, MSU does not. He thinks they can magically come up with something just because they have two weeks to think about it, wrong.
Weisman was held to 70 yards on 20 carries through 3 quarters. Michigan State had a pretty damn good handle on him last year, and their defense is even better this year. It's hardly a stretch to think they can slow down Weisman, since that's exactly what they did a year ago (slow down, is not the same as stop).

This has been a VERY closely contested series over the past several years. Given the teams' history and style of play, I actually think it's pretty fitting that they split on the picks.
Iowa's offense is better.
Well Indiana slowed the Hawks down for 3 quarters in 2009....who cares? The game is 4 quarters, brah.
Weisman ran for over 100 yards against them last year. That isnt really slowing anybody down.
Well let's see here, Iowa's offense is lighting people up. We have had two excellent receivers emerge. We have a QB that is becoming one of the BoneG's best. We have a running game that no one can slow down. And you're telling me we can't score on a team that gave up 14 to Western Michigan? You really think that Iowa is so good that anyone who would pick MSU in this game does so because of a bias or complete ignorance? I don't know what season you are watching but its not the one Im watching.
This part is getting overblown a bit by nearly everybody. In the last four years, there have been 2 close games, and two that were not close at all. The last two games in Iowa City have not been close, with the two teams splitting. That said, I do expect a close game.

MARK THIS DOWN. Iowa scores over 20, and MSU is not within 10 points the entire 2nd half. The only prayer MSU has is that they suddenly find an vertical passing game, which they won't. This is going to be a cake walk for the Hawks, and I don't expect a biased, idiotic, ESPiN "expert" to notice this.
I have called the past two games almost exactly, unlike this idiot, because I understand the game and I know what's going to happen.
