Some of you on here puffing your chests out saying MSU doesn't have a chance are absolutely delusional.
Iowa is off to a surprising start. The defense is better than it's been since Angerer and Edds left. The offense is better than it's been since JVB took over.

That's great.. and that's about it. This is still a team most picked to finish near the bottom of the Big10. Also it's a team that finished with 4 wins last year.

It should take more than a win over Minnesota to have anyone convinced this team is capable of competing for the division. It should take at least a win over MSU before anyone starts thinking of Iowa as a 'lead pipe lock' in any game.

The next part of the schedule is supposed to go like this L,L,L,L,L,L,L and until we take care of the Spartans.. that's what I'm still expecting.

Their defense is not any better than last year, you idiot. They were Top 8 in rushing last year as well, #4 in total, and #9 in scoring. They are one of 4 teams in the country (Alabama, Florida State, LSU, Florida) to have 2 straight years in the top 10 of each category. They are not any better than they've been the last 2 years.
