Respect

I think in terms of national perspective this Iowa game holds a littler more weight than some of you are suggesting. PSU is a bigger name nationally no doubt, but this season it's Iowa thats been in the headlines and right out in front.

Also this is a BCS game, and a lot of the media has gone to bat for Iowa saying that the BCS did the right thing picking Iowa over PSU. An Iowa loss over the ACC conf champs would tarnish what the B10 has accomplished so far and and Iowa win would put an exclaimation point on the whole thing. Right now the ACC is 4-2 with a 1-2 bowl record vs ranked teams. Assuming MSU gets the beatdown most expect that would put the B10 at 3-3 with 3 good wins and 3 losses that won't really matter (the NW loss being respectable). 4-3 with 4 wins over top 20 teams and 2 BSC conf champs would be very big and 3-4 splitting with 2 BSC conf champs would only be a better showing than last year.

Iowa is carrying the batton in the anchor leg. I am confident the Hawks will deliver.
