Which makes a ton of sense. I mean Iowa has only had 3 different head coaches since the last NCAA tourney appearance, why wouldnt you judge the last 7 years as a collective whole?

Every year in November, this is what the basketball board is..because people judge this sport the same as football..which is folly...two games out of 31 in basketball (80 of 1240 minutes) is the equivalent to making a judgement in football after 3.1 quarters of the first football game.

I agree you can't compare the 2 sports but I don't think its because how many games are played. Shooting is such a big part of basketball and it doesn't take a D1 athlete to be a lights out shooter. If a team has a game where all their shots are falling there really isn't that much the other team can do about it.

This team couldn't shoot the ball into a freaking swimming pool. With Fran not allowing any flow to develop in his play everyone and their brother rotation, I don't know how this team will score.

They are like the Memphis Grizzlies without the defense or automatic low post scoring.
