Reports that Paterno is done NOW

Media is unreal. "Are you aware that students are rioting downtown right now?" Surma, "Being that I am here right now, no." Frickin' idiots.

That press conference was an embarassment to the media in PA.

The dude from the BoT handled that well.

Good decision. As much as I feel JoePa is a good person and I feel like he thought his actions were enough, it was nowhere near good enough.

Not a single question about any of the victims. That's ******* pathetic.

None of them care about the victims. All they are worried about is trying to save face, salvage "the program", and keep the FB revenue rolling in.
Anybody who thinks otherwise is a fool.

McQueary is the least culpable of all of them.
I don't mean to go all Mcenroe on you but you cannot be serious. Of all the people in the PSU administration that had the most evidence was McQueary. He is the ONLY one who actually saw what happened. Not only did he not stop it when he witnessed it, but just like Paterno he never followed up on it after sending it up the food chain.

according to what I've read Mcqueary saw sandusky in the act and sandusky saw Mcqueary and stopped, so its not like he saw it, said carry on, and slipped out.

Secondly Mcqueary had the least power and therefore the least responsibility in all this.

It is pathetic that they didn't ask about the victims. It's a sad ending to a great career.

It still blows my mind that after he reported all of this to a superior, he received a lot of blame. Sure he didn't report it to the police, but he did what he was suppose to do.

I hope Sandusky feels terrible that he ruined the greatest college football coach's career.

i think Sandusky will feel horrible when he's in a jail cell for a really long time.

You don't think McQueary had a moral obligation to see the kid to safety? That he was right to leave a ten year old with a man that was boning his butt?

problem is... that wasn't near enough.

yeah they stopped, then went to Sandusky's office. You really think the "job" wasn't finished in there?

Also, I disagree. He had the most power, at least in the eyes of the law. Paterno's testimony would be worthless without McQuery because he didn't actually see anything. Legally, the only person who could incrimanate Sandusky was McQuery.
