The NW State game left a permanent scar on the psyche....

One of the painful aspects of the game was the fact that there was time on the clock after the winning basket. The NW State players came off the sidelines and were running on the court with time remaining. Adam Haluska was dribbling the ball downcourt and attempted a desperate shot that clanked off the rim.....

As far as I know it is a technical to have more than five players on the floor with the clock running.....

Alford wasn't that concerned about demanding a technical on the bench for mobbing the floor with time remaining. He merely walked off the floor in disgrace, contemplating his permanent loss of any possibility of becoming the next coach of Indiana......

He walked off the floor and left the Hawkeyes behind forevermore. Unfortunately he remains in the minds of all fervent Hawkeye basketball fanatics.....

Alas.....

its hard to predict how we`re gonna finish the season.i think there is no guarantee of victory in every games.this is why we play games.

I was in Las Vegas watching the game, sitting next to a Illinois fan who was also losing. We were the ONLY two in a madhouse of fans who were not cheering for NW State. When NW State won, the place was complete bedlam and I of course was stunned and very angry that Alford blew it again.

Funny, he continues to blow big games but his hair is perfect.

i think with his nba salary, he brought hundred cases of hair spray and hair coloring.
